Cannabis can be used to help treat several ailments and diseases, such as Arthritis, Asthma, Depression, Glaucoma, chronic pain, headaches, hangovers, and menstrual cramps.

Irv Rosenfeld is a 28-year marijuana patient. Marijuana helps relieve the symptoms of a rare bone disorder that Rosenfeld suffers from. Multiple congenital cartilaginous exostoses is the name of the disorder and is marked by bony protrusions in the body’s long bones. Marijuana relaxes Rosenfeld’s muscle tissue so that he can move and function without pain. Marijuana has been the only successful treatment.

Marijuana was used in patented, perfectly legal medicines starting during the 1860’s until 1937 when the first federal laws were enacted against the herb. The medicines were manufactured by all major pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly and Merck. Its uses included alleviation from pain, muscle relaxation, and anti-inflammation.

There are about ten federally recognized medical marijuana patients, including Irv Rosenfeld. Individual states have legalized and decriminalized the use of marijuana, but the federal government refuses to recognize and reverse its own hypocrisy.
